Hey friends, a while ago i posted the artwork i designed for ONE NINE NINE FOUR, a film about the 90s californian punk scene. It really is a great film, but due to licensing issues with the music in the film it might not ever see the light of day. The guys are selling shirts to raise money to get this thing out. Here is my new obsession – scanning in dreamy old kodachrome images i have in a stack of magazines that stretch from the mid 1940s to the late 1980s. I used to use colour correction but that totally kills the warmth, the tone of the black is the really special part.
